My morning Latte'

In the headlines today:

  • Two Milwaukee women were arrested in Waukesha on Tuesday for 'working as escorts without a permit'. Let that be a lesson to all you Milwaukee prostitutes. Get your stink'n papers in order before you decide to sell your bodies, minds, and souls to us Waukeshaians. Don't you know we check for that stuff??? By the way, that brings the number of these arrests to 19 since MARCH!!!
  • Kudos to the Waukesha county Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Unit. They won the 'Investigation of the Year award by a state drug officers association'. Great job cleaning up our streets. By the way, the major arrests were made as a result from a 'tip'. Let's keep our eyes open Waukesha. This isn't the military... We ask, we tell!
  • Flight for Life has new headquarters at our very own Crites Field. The public is invited to their open house Sept. 6 from 10-12 at their new hanger. http://www.freemanol.com/ for all above articles.
  • One less name is McCain's VP name list: Pawlenty indicates he's not McCain's veep choice
  • I missed this game, only peeked on occasion but it looked close: Titans 23, Packers 21: Reserves leave plenty in question.
  • Now here's a BIG surprise: Slow construction may limit taxes. Yawn.
  • Did you know about this? School bus offers safe, eco-friendly transportation Maybe I just never wanted to think about it, which is why I was blown away to learn that the average school bus get about 7 miles to the gallon.
